Two years have passed since the establishment by the operator of the St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise "Smolny Automatic Telephone Exchange with the support of the Committee on Informatization and Communications of the Unified Information and Reference Service 122.
The project to modernize the operator's network was implemented by SIGURD IT on the basis of equipment of its own design. Software switches of classes 4 and 5, a cluster IP gateway, an STM multiplexer, a multi-level IVR, a telephone notification platform and a SIGURD-MIND contact center for 500 operators were put into operation, and the choice of the number of operator jobs, in turn, was due to the need to deploy a number of information and reference services for the city of St. Petersburg- St. Petersburg.
The 122 service was created in the context of a pandemic and its main task at that time was to provide consulting support to the city's population. Currently, the service functions in cooperation with the executive bodies of state power and, depending on the direction of the citizen's question, can promptly redirect the call to the Unified Information and Reference Service of the Health Committee, to the Center of City Volunteers of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg, to the Hotline of the Education Committee, to the Information Service of the Transport Committee, to the Unified Social Number or to the Call Center 004.
Over 2 years of successful operation, system 122 managed to process 10 million requests, while the maximum number of requests from St. Petersburg residents to the service per day increased more than 10 times and amounted to 200 thousand requests.
Currently, SIGURD-IT and STC PROTEY, which are part of the PROTEY IT holding, are working to improve the quality and availability of system 122 services, because, as you know, any technological service needs constant improvements. We express our gratitude to our colleagues for the solidarity and professionalism shown in solving jointly set tasks, and we hope for the continuation of this active interaction, since in the near future it is planned to expand the functionality of the current system by means of receiving multimedia messages sent by residents of the city via SMS, messengers or social networks.
We are glad to be involved in the creation of a socially significant project for St. Petersburg, which has significantly improved the quality of life of St. Petersburg residents and has become an excellent example of the real benefits of modern information technologies for the life of our city!
